Hi, I'm Veronica!
I graduated with honors in Dietetics at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Turin in 2018.
After graduating, I specialized in the prevention and treatment of Eating Disorders (ED).
Furthermore, during my training, I paid particular attention to the nutrition of pregnant and breastfeeding women , and to pediatric nutrition , with a focus on weaning and food selectivity.
The concept of diet, with its countless side effects, and that of "right" weight have never represented me and I have always questioned them.
Over time, this led me to embrace the wonderful world of non-prescriptive, non-weight-focused approaches , particularly Intuitive Eating : a method that puts the person at the center, valuing their uniqueness and complexity.
This approach is the core of my work, guiding you towards a serene and free relationship with food and your body .
"The biggest lie diet culture tells you is that your life will be perfect once you lose weight."
What does it mean to work in a non-prescriptive, non-weight-focused way?
Working in a non-prescriptive and non-weight-focused way means putting the person at the center, not a number on the scale. It is not about imposing rigid rules or unrealistic goals, but about exploring together a more serene and conscious relationship with food .
It is a path that is based on listening to the body's signals , such as hunger, satiety and energy, and which aims to rediscover the pleasure of eating, without judgement or guilt .
This approach recognizes that every body is unique and has different needs , which change over time . It is not about chasing an aesthetic ideal, but about supporting physical, mental and emotional well-being through kind, flexible and respectful food choices . It is an invitation to let go of obsessive control and cultivate a balance that takes into account health in its entirety.
